Is Suge Knight Still Alive or Dead?
Suge Knight is the former CEO of Death Row Records, a label that featured “gangsta rap” and had artists like Tupac Shakur, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.
Born Marion Hugh “Suge” Knight Jr. on April 19, 1965 in Compton. He started his adult life as a celebrity bodyguard. In 1991, he partnered with Dr. Dre to form Death Row Records. The label was successful, Dre’s album, The Chronic, went on to triple platinum status and Snoop’s record Doggystyle obtained a quadruple platinum certification in the United States.
He signed on other successful artists like Tupac and MC Hammer. However despite the success of the label, Knight was involved in different feuds with Luther Campbell and Sean Combs. He was allegedly linked to the murder of Tupac and Notorious BIG but there is no evidence to back this.

On April 4, 2006, Knight filed bankruptcy due to civil litigation against him and everything in the record label was auctioned off. In 2018, Suge pleaded no contest to a manslaughter charge and was sentenced to 28 years in prison.
